Welcome to my website. I am honoured to be the Assembly Member for Blaenau Gwent. I stood for election because Blaenau Gwent really matters to me. I was born and brought up in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent made me and shaped me and being elected to serve the people of Blaenau Gwent in May 2011 was one of my proudest moments.

As your Assembly Member I promise to work hard for and stand up for everyone in Blaenau Gwent - individuals, communities and businesses - to bring new opportunities to an area that for too long has been blighted by worklessness, poverty, low levels of attainment and lack of ambition.

By standing up for Blaenau Gwent I aim to ensure that all our communities and businesses see the investment and regeneration they so desperately need. I will work to bring new opportunities and jobs for our younger generation, safer communities for families and better healthcare for the sick and elderly.
